Baking Soda Scrub
I want to share with you a tip from the wonderful book “Hollywood Beauty Secrets: Remedies to the Rescue” by Louisa Graves. Louisa Graves is a beauty and anti-aging expert. In her book Louisa reveals many homemade beauty and health care secrets. She shares with her readers the tips she has learned from celebrities, actresses, and models.
One of my favorite Louisa‘s natural recipe is a baking soda scrub. It is a gentle microdermabrasion scrub for pennies. All you will need is baking soda and water. When you wash your face, leave your face wet, add a little bit of soda on the wet skin and rub it gently in a circular motion. That is a wonderful way to exfoliate skin. This will make your skin glow, it will help to unclog the pores, to get rid of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, uneven pigmentation. It is very effective natural beauty procedure. This way you can exfoliate your face, hands, and whole body. It is a natural microdermabrasion you can do at home.
After the procedure I oil my face with olive or coconut oil to calm the skin.
Louise Graves says we can do this twice a week, or even every second day. For me it is too often, I do this “microdermabrasion” once a week.
Try it and see how your skin looks and feels after this. I bet you will like it!
